Spirl Welded Carbon Steel Pipe

Use the skin effect and proximity effect of the high-frequency current to make the current concentrated on the edge of the tube blank to heat the joint surface to the welding temperature, and then extrude and roll the welded pipe. High frequency welding has induction welding and contact resistance welding two kinds. The current frequency of the welded steel tube is 350~450kHZ, and the induction welding can be selected as low, but the minimum shall not be less than 150 KHZ. When welding non-ferrous metal pipes, the current frequency shall not be lower than 450kH.

Inductor and billet are equivalent to primary and secondary coils of transformer. When the inductor passes through the high-frequency current, the outer surface of the billet will generate an induced current, and a v-shaped loop I, which is called welding current along the edge of the billet, is used for useful work.

A strip along the surface of the billet constitutes a shunt I: which is called the circulating current. It only causes the temperature rise of the billet to cause heat loss and is useless. In order to reduce the loss of circulating current and improve the electromagnetic induction efficiency, an impedance device is set in the tube to increase the inductance value on the inner surface of the tube.
